Residente en Nueva York, EE.UU., ShinYeon Moon es Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Nueva York, ciudad en la que actualmente realiza su producción artística, enfocada en la ilustración a través de diferentes medio y técnicas.
Environmental Awareness (Concientización ambiental), es el título que prologa su proyecto realizado durante su residencia en la School of Visual Arts, en Nueva York durante el verano de 2014. En él hace referencia a diversas problemáticas ambientales vinculadas al cambio climático, dibujos en los que sus personajes van más allá de la interacción mutua, se incorporan entre ellos y con los elementos de su entorno para sensibilizar al espectador sobre la relación del ser humano con su entorno.
